It’s rare for these vintage bondage illustrations (this one found via Bondage Blog) to feature paddles or hairbrushes, as this one does:
I quite like that “nothing on but their silk stockings” look for the girls who are the center of attention.

I’m about 90% certain this artwork is by Eric Stanton, maybe from one of the “Stantoon” mags he did:

I post more female/female spankings here on Spanking Blog than I would genuinely prefer to do. In my view, it’s an oversaturated spanking porn niche, probably because it’s a bit safer/tamer than doing M/f stuff. But still I post a lot, because there is a lot, and I keep seeing images that catch my fancy. Such as this one from Hustler’s Taboo, featuring a domina with really impressive “tracts of land”:

I came across this excellent inter-scene title card from one of those pre-code movies, and figured it was worth investigating further:

The movie turns out to be The Naughty Flirt (which sounds promising) from 1931. I figured, rightly, that Chross would have a listing in his Movie Spanking Database; complete with a movie clip link and this still:

Although the video clip is not of the best quality, I captured a couple of details from the aftermath of the quick spanking scene:
Here’s Jade Indica getting a yardstick spanking during slave training:
Doesn’t she have the most expressive “woe-is-me I’m-getting-a-spanking” face?

Here’s a blog post ranging further from pure spanking than I usually go, although it does involve doing painful things to a bottom. I stumbled over this image by the fetish artist Carlo (see Footnote 1), and I thought it quirky and interesting enough to share, especially as there’s a ton of other Carlo bondage and spanking art floating around the kinky web. But this, I had never seen before:
What’s going on here is a fetish called piquerism. The fellow in the bullfighter costume is using his darts (normally used to antagonize and distract a bull) to prick the bottom of the chained woman. If you thought bullfighting was unfair and mean, you really won’t approve of this!
If you click the image for the larger “original” version as it came to me, there’s a caption suggesting (with the aid of a bit of web research) that the art first illustrated a 1930s book called L’Inquisiteur Moderne by Juana Lapaz.
Carlo (born c. 1910) aka Charléno was an anonymous, probably French, fetish and BDSM artist whose works were published in the 1930s. Most of his work has femsub themes. His style was a precursor to that of John Willie.
He illustrated several books, such as ‘Dressage’, ‘Bagne de Femmes’, ‘Servitude’, ‘Dolly, Esclave’, ‘Despotisme Féminin’, ‘Cuir & Fouet’, ‘Dolorès Amazone’, ‘Le Cuir Triomphant’, ‘La Madone du Cuir Verni’, ‘Esclavage’, ‘La Reine Cravache’ (all written by Alan Mac Clyde), ‘L’Inquisiteur Moderne’, ‘Sévérités Perverses’ (all by Juana Lapaz), ‘Le Dominateur’ (all by Aimé Van Rod), ‘Cinglantes Épreuves’, ‘Le Chateau des Cuisants Souvenirs’, ‘Brûlants Plaisirs’ (all by Désiré Van Rowel) and many other titles in the sado-masochistic genre.
Carlo also contributed to magazine Humour under the name Charléno. The real name behind those pseudonyms is unknown to us.
