Spanking Blog: Adult Erotic Spanking At Its Best

I just discovered Spanking Art, which features nice examples of vintage spanking artwork. It’s new, but looks very promising.

Many a kinkster has had moments of pleasant reverie while reading the histories of those terrible Vikings, whose plundering always included (at least in the fevered imaginings of the pious monks who recorded the histories) the carrying-off of nubile farm wenches for immoral purposes. Here’s one of those reveries reduced to pen and ink (click the detail image for the larger scene):

As you might imagine, running this blog gets me some odd email. Lately, however, I’ve noticed a common theme that runs through some of the odd ones. Every few weeks I’ll get one like this (although the return address and subject matter always varies):

“my girl likes me to spank her during sex and i like doing it can you tell me what what makes her like it is it the pain or power”

What these messages have in common are (1) that they are very short; (2) they always contain a stupid-ish spanking-related inquiry that invites a detailed response; 3) the authors of these requests never share anything substantive about themselves; and 4) the authors of these requests usually display a profound native innocence about phenomena such as punctuation and capitalization.

What’s more, I sometimes get similar requests in comments and they are also fairly frequent on spanking discussion boards. Usually in the discussion boards six people will answer, but the original poster never comes back into the discussion. Instead, a week later, it’s new thread time: “tell me what you like when you get spanked do you suck him always then?”

I have begun to conclude that these questions are a variant on the strategy used by the guys who make dirty phone calls to random women in an effort to get free phone sex. It’s as if there are guys out there (surely guys — I’ve never had one that purports to be from a woman) who get off on the act of enticing someone into responding to their questions about spanking. Why this should be so (when there are millions and millions of pages of spanking discussion out there just waiting to be Googled up) is beyond me. But then, other people’s fetishes are often a mystery.

Has anybody else encountered this “I want some custom spanking prose from you” email fetish?

I always worry when spankos go off the air suddenly and without explanation, as most of them seem eventually to do. Hair Brush Action was a fun spanking blog that went 404 without warning a couple of months ago. And La Fess‚ is gone now, without much explanation (and without responding to my offer to mirror the old posts to keep them on the web).

I hope both those guys just got high-maintenance spanko girlfriends, and had to drop their blogs because their spanking arms were too sore to type. Sorry to see them go.

Another review copy of a caning video has arrived in my mailbox. Love Story is the latest excellent production from Mood Pictures, and it’s the fourth video they’ve sent me for review. (Hmmm, you think my reviews might be generating some sales? Sometimes I wonder why more spanking video producers aren’t sending me review copies.)

Fair warning, Love Story is not for the faint of heart. The girls each take about fifty hard cane strokes, and wind up with bottoms that look pretty raw. The movie has a fun premise, though, that gestures toward an old fantasy of mine: a caning contest!

The setup goes like this. Two pretty girls discover that they have a boyfriend in common, and begin to bicker about who should get him. Just then the boyfriend’s sister (who looks astonishingly like Buffy) comes along, and offers a proposal to sort things out: She’ll cane both girlfriends, and the one who can take the most gets the boy. Call it trial by ordeal, just like the old days.

This all gets hashed out in an astonishingly civil conversation, after which the canings commence. The contestants take ten strokes at a time, in turn, counting the strokes and wincing a lot. The caning is severe from the beginning — sister is not messing around!

Unfortunately the story quickly goes a little sour. The two girls are very different; one’s a bit of sweetheart, and shows her very convincing suffering from the beginning. The other comes off like an leather-butted dropout from a school for delinquent girls, keeping a stone face until very late in her caning, and sneering at the camera. Her bottom is caned just as raw, but she manages a convincing “you’re not getting through to me” attitude for at least the first thirty strokes.

After each girl has had fifty strokes, helpful sister wimps out and calls a halt. The competitors then start caning each other (alternating five strokes each) and it’s just no contest from there on out. The sweet one turns out not to be able to cane; when it’s her turn, she barely swings the cane, and it looks like leather-butt is trying not to laugh. The sweet one, who was showing more distress all along, quickly gives up.

Leaving aside the little detail that the girl I wanted to win, didn’t, I liked Love Story pretty well. Bethie was gasping and hiding her eyes a bit from the welts the girls got, but the contest aspect was fairly novel and quite a lot of fun. And the cheating boyfriend probably got what he deserves — namely, the tougher, meaner girl. My only regret was that the sister got off scot free. I was hoping the two girlfriends would jump her at the end and pay her back.

Bottom line: if you like authentic and severe caning videos with girls that are pretty, you’ll like Love Story.
