Redemption Through Pain
It’s been awhile since I’ve gone to a Renaissance Fair, and you know what? They’ve changed. For the better, apparently. Not that I ever had anything against tickle stocks, but the chance to get publicly paddled or flogged by one pretty woman while another one crouches nearby and stares into your eyes to monitor your wellbeing, in a set of stocks marked “Through Pain, Redemption?”
That’s just not the sort of experience you got at the fair when I was a sprout.
