It hasn’t all been slaving over hot HTML around here. Every now and then, I’ve had to pause and remonstrate with Bethie. As you can see, she doesn’t fully appreciate the efficient approach I have to take when I’m busy coding….
We’re back! (I hope.)
Apologies to everyone for the downtime. If you can read this, we are back up running WordPress 1.5. The templates are still a little clunky (look for minor polishing improvements as time goes by) and much of the imported data (old posts and comments) are slightly dirty (odd characters and such and the occasional munged link.) It will all get fixed.
Meanwhile, if anything is broken in your browser, please post a comment letting me know. I may not fix everything right away (this project ate a bunch of time that was committed elsewhere) but your feedback will be appreciated.
In brighter news, Sunday was Spanking Blog’s second birthday. I’m amazed at how this blog has prospered, and stunned that it’s still fun after two solid years of posting. Thank you all for your continued patronage!

Overall, my biggest complaint: illiteracy. To any of the 106 responders I didn’t connect with: if you had just written a grammatically correct email, WE MIGHT BE HAVING SEX AT THIS VERY MOMENT. I wanted to give everyone a shot (not at having sex, but a shot at connecting with me, and that might have led to sex). I honestly think, out of the 110 responses I received, probably 90 contained bad grammar, misspellings, and/or were far too short to even glean any information about the responder. I’m not kidding: 90 out of 110. That means that I didn’t even have to evaluate 82% of the responses, because they’d already put themselves out of the running.
Like it or not, boys, spelling and punctuation matters.
Is it really possible I’ve resisted the temptation to post Girls Boarding School pictures for almost six weeks? I’ve got to fix that!
