Well, kids, I had an AWESOME birthday! At exactly the stroke of midnight, three girls started singing happy birthday to me in my dorm. Cal-Star was different. The spankings were real, or at least faked with enthusiasm; and the bottoms wound up looking really really sore. The models, though, were pure 1980s corn-fed Porn Valley rode-hard-and-put-away-wet porn stars. No risk of thinking these “schoolgirls” were too young! It was pure American porn glory, with a kinky twist.

I think I still have a few of their videotapes tucked away in deep storage, but I haven’t seen any new titles in years. But now, via the sparkling miracle that is the internet, much of their old catalog is available for download at California Star Productions.

They do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so I guess you can color me flattered. I found a new spanking blog, thought it looked pretty neat, and started reading through it. I quickly discovered that five of the seventeen posts on it (including two pictures) were “borrowed” from Spanking Blog, without so much as a link credit. Not just coincidence — my words, cut and pasted and presented as this other blogger’s. In one case, an email I quoted from Analyze Julie was presented by this other blogger as “an email from a reader.”

I love it when people like my posts, but is it really so hard to drop a link credit? Sheesh.
