It’s a quick throwaway scene and a diversion, but it’s worth mentioning nonetheless: In 2007, in a mainstream movie, in theaters now, there’s a genuine “adult man spanks an adult woman” spanking scene. Fully clothed, standing up, in public, and non-consensual, but still, a movie spanking is a movie spanking. And the man is Clive Owen, if that helps.

The movie is Shoot ‘Em Up, and I cannot recommend it. Comic book violence (generally fun) with a Hollywood-lame antigun message that got in the way of the plot. Despite plenty of laugh out loud moments and some bonus points for hookers in nun outfits, there was too much gore and too many magic guns and magic ammo and magic stuntmen doing things physics won’t allow.

Although it’s not my cup of tea exactly, I know I’ve got loyal readers who enjoy roleplaying humiliating scenes, some of which can involve consequences for the loss of control over bodily functions. So I thought it worth calling attention to this pair of pics:
