There was a famous bondage artist in the 1970s and 1980s who sometimes drew his bondage heroines being whipped and spanked. Bob Bishop drew for a variety of House of Milan bondage magazines, but I found these samples on UseNet back in the day. I believe they illustrated a series called “In The Hands Of The Inquisition”:

Poor Mason. It’s summertime, she’s got a surplus of zucchini (who doesn’t?) and can’t figure out what to do with it all. Chross has clips from a Bollywood movie called Judwaa in which actress Karisma Kapoor gets a couple of well-delivered, and presumably well-deserved, smacks on her behind. I had to run up these three screen shots and share my mental captions:

I don’t link to as many spanking stories sites as I used to, mostly because I don’t seem to stumble over them as often as I did in the pre-blog era. But there are some very amusing free spanking stories at Trouble Books, including Section 99 from which the following excerpt is taken:
It was but a few hours before Blake met Ajax. She wasn’t hard to miss, the only recruit not attending the recruit briefing, instead relaxing in her quarters, which were a complete and utter shambles. She looked over her shoulder with a sneer. “Oh come on, don’t you have better things to do?”
Blake smiled. “Oh no darling, for the moment, I am all yours,” he said, reaching out and taking her by the arm as he sat down, pulling her close to him.
“What are you doing?!” she cried, clearly perturbed by his actions which seemed to be ringing a bell of recognition somewhere in her subconscious.
“Naughty girl,” Agent Blake chided, pulling down the now squirming Ajax’s uniform pants and regulation black panties, exposing her rounded cheeks. “You’ve earned yourself a good sound spanking.”

Although there’s a lot of bullshit in the whole “pickup artist” subculture (just Google if you don’t know what I’m talking about) there are some areas where they stumble close to truths that sound familiar to anybody with experience of dominant/submissive relationships. Thus, for example, in The Sixteen Commandments of Poon, Roissy writes:
If you allow a woman to make the rules she will resent you with a seething contempt even a rapist cannot inspire. The strongest woman and the most strident feminist wants to be led by, and to submit to, a more powerful man. Polarity is the core of a healthy loving relationship. As always, the problem with the PUAs is the problem of over-generalization. Truth, there are a lot of women who fit this description. ‘Nother truth: It ain’t all of ’em.
