I don’t have enough realm-specific knowledge about the detailed attire of different categories of British schoolgirls to decode this image. The cane and the shirts (and the cute tie!) seem to suggest a school-caning situation. But the funny hats are, I think, helmets for horse riding? Only, shouldn’t it be a riding crop, then?
