I have never been a fan of kinky media that treats kink, or BDSM behavior, as a psychological malady. In the bad old days of heavy censorship it was common to show every kinky person in a movie as a tortured soul, wrestling with his or her perversions. Every kinky movie in this framework (which was most of them back in the old 20th) was packaged first and foremost as a psychological drama; and as such, I can scarcely bear to watch them. If people aren’t enjoying their kinks, I run out of patience pretty quickly!
