Broke My Cane

Yup, I broke my little cane. Not in a fun way like some people, either. Just picked it up to put it in a more appropriate place, gave it a flick to hear the nice “whick-whick” noise, and it snapped at the base of the suede-wrap handle.

Bethie wasn’t even home, sigh.

Now I need to get off the stick (so to speak) and order another one ASAP. Although it is springtime, so I suppose I could get by for awhile with a willow switch and a handful of fresh nettles.

Yup, it’s time to take Bethie for another walk in the woods.
