Stay Here, Hold These

Hooded, shackled to the caning block, tied by her hair, and made to hold the instruments of her impending punishment. Cruel, yes. But I think by the time the caning starts in an hour or two, she’ll have reflected sufficiently on behavioral improvements that might help her postpone the next punishment:
