This is described where I found it as “a panel from the Superman newspaper strip…in the early ’40s.” I like the formal spanking attire, and of course the “Do I love it!” dialog:

Update: Doh! I blogged a smaller and less colorful version of this panel back in 2007. Of course I knew I’d seen it before, but I didn’t remember blogging it. I’m afraid this sort of thing is going to get more common as the blog and I grow older together…

    I don’t know if it was deliberate, but the lady’s caption balloon has the pointy end directed at her ass. Is that where the voice is coming from? That’s cheeky of her, to be resorting to ventriloquism under these circumstances!
