Yayy!!!!! Spankboss you just picked up on one of my favourite bits of Buffy suggestiveness!!! I’m a huge Buffy fan (bordering on freakishly obsessed I’m afraid) and I ALWAYS loved both of those conversations.
There’s actually an awful lot of fanfiction out there where Willow gets her wish by the way!!
Also the whole sixth series hinted a lot at a bit of bondage between Buffy and Spike – again, widely covered in the fanfiction world!
Oh and it’s not just Willow with it on the brain – if you have access check out Xanders comment early in the Season 2 Episode ‘Surprise’ re Buffy’s birthday (rudely cut off by silly talk of a prophetic dream – let the boy have his way for gods sake!!)
The season 2 episode, “When She Was Bad,” had the priceless line, spoken by Cordelia to Buffy:
“Get over it. Whatever is causing the Joan Collins ‘tude, embrace the pain, spank your inner moppet, whatever….”
