I’m not sure what generic discussion of male sexual frustration in marriage this cartoon originally illustrated, but I thought readers of this spanking blog might be likely to have a very different reaction to the “on strike” panties than the cartoonist intended:
At my house, panties like this would go over something like this: “Hey, nifty panties. They say right on them where to strike!” {Smack!}
And no, I have no idea why Bethie never wears the panties with the canes printed right on them.
