    Reminded me of years ago when daylight saving was reintroduced in most Australian states. The State of Queensland (which is mostly in the tropics) did not take it up. Joke went around that the corrupt premier of that state, Johannes Bjelke Petersen, thought the sun shone out of his arse and he was not getting up an hour early for anybody!
