I am not certain if that’s just a charcoal heater in the corner or if this is supposed to be a sauna-type situation, which would be my guess from the benches along the walls. In any case, I think the welts on her thighs and breasts and belly are proof that our strung-up victim of the (bamboo?) rods is sweating from more than the heat and the steam:
