Spanking Blog On Google Personalized Home

Is anybody using the new customized Google home page? I’ve long set my default browser window to Google.com, but since they introduced the new Google Personalized Home I’ve enjoyed that instead. Basically it’s a page where you can easily (with just a mouse click or a URL cut-and-paste) add as many headlines as you like from whatever blogs, news sources, or anything else with an RSS feed you may enjoy. That way every time you open your browser, you get at-a-glance headlines for whatever’s new at your favorite sites. It’s really fun.

For those who are using it, or would like to try it, I’ve been flying a one-click button banner to help you put Spanking Blog on your customized home page:

Add to Google

However, I don’t have any feedback to indicate whether anybody’s using it. Have you tried it? Do you like it? Let me know.

I used to use google personalized homepage and it was great, but google reader (the old version, not the new one they put up this week that sucks, go into settings and change to the old version) is so much better. If they get rid of the old google reader style, I’ll be going back to personalized homepage.

I’m still playing with it. It takes me forever to get used to anything new.
