Well here’s an evil spanking scheme. What kind of sadist nails bottle caps to a wooden paddle? This kind, apparently:

Fair warning, as if the schmutz on the paddle were not enough: there are also photos at that link of a very sore and somewhat-bloody bottom. The caption redeems somewhat: “Last night’s fun. Oh pain, I love/hate you so…”
