The title is actually “Vos gueules, les mouettes!” As a comedy, it’s none too funny – but the mass seaside spanking (6 M, 6 F) that happens at the end is well worth fast-forwarding to.

I’m glad someone remembered the title of the movie–I sure couldn’t!
The ladies are, in fact, the wives of the gentlemen shown (possibly some are girlfriends–I’ve only seen a clip from the film, not the whole movie.)
The spankings are taking place by the water’s edge because every few smacks or so, the men dip the ladies backsides into the water and then pull them out, bend them over, and continue the spanking…

This is from the French movie “Vos Gueueues, Les Mouettes!” (1974). Actually has nothing to do with swimming.
