In case anyone didn’t know, that’s actually Catwoman (in her first appearance) that Batman’s threatening. Given Catwoman’s later personality, I doubt if she’d see the “threat” as much of a deterrent.

You are obviously unaware of Batman #15, circa 1943. Which did, apparently appear in the US, but copies of it are really hard to find. For obvious reasons.
