    This looks like a very gentle use of the tawse. I wonder how the young lady would react to a hard dozen with a proper scots tawse. the bath brush was marginally more effective.

    Peter, I agree - I was pretty gentle with the tawse because I had a lot of strokes to apply.

    i have a plastic bath brush which gives a real hot bottom. better than a hairbrush as it covers more area with less force on each stroke.
