Sharon Green is my favorite Sci Fi writer. Her stuff reminds me of Heinlein. There's spankings in most of the Terrilian series , as well as her Jalav the Amazon series, her Diana Santee space agent series, and several of her other sci fi novels. Although Terrilean may seem emotionally messed up, like all of Sharon Green's female heroines she's actually got a lot of hidden strengths making it possible for her to achieve things nobody else around her could. In real life, Sharon Green studied Tai
Kwando and raised two kids in Brooklyn. Her characters are never fainting flowers unable to hold their own dealing with tough situations or bad company. They don't sit around waiting for prince charmings to come and rescue them they go out and fight the dragons themselves. In fact a lot of the spankings in her novels are for the heroine taking crazy risks which sometimes people have to take to get ahead in the world, which is why her male supporting characters might be useful for guys who want to be supportive without being dominated by successful modern career women wives to study.
